New Header Contest Empty
PostSubject: New Header Contest   New Header Contest EmptyThu Jun 24, 2010 1:58 am

Hey guys,

I wanted to update the fairly bland header at the top (The green iSci tab with the 6-modular star)

If anybody with computer graphic skills wanted to create a new header (preferably one wider -- spanning the top of server), that would be cool.

I'm open for any ideas, some guidelines (not too strict on these) for the new logo/header would be:

--Says "iSci", but can say more if you'd like, such as "Integrated Science"
--Represents Integrated Science some way, either our McMaster community, science at large, or both
--Stays true to our colours (green, yellow, and black) -- but feel free to use other colours
--Dimensions can be variable on this server, just don't make it square, make it long.
--Can use traditional logo, or introduce a new one.

If we have more than 3 great submissions, I'll put a vote here, and the winning one will be the new header for the year.

Either post submissions directly here on the forum, or send em to iscisociety@gmail.com

Have fun!!

Also, first years -- you are totally welcome to join the contest.

With our new domain name, if you had "iSci Forum" in the header, that would be sick.. or something along the lines of that.

Andrew's also looking to make a new logo.

So for anyone interested, he has the colour scheme here:

I would recommend sticking to these colours (and white) for the header as well. Though if you have another creative idea with different colours, go ahead!
