| The First Year Experience Office (FYEO) has just announced that the two headlining bands for this year's Welcome Week are Alexisonfire and the Arkells! The Alexisonfire concert is free for everyone who buys a MacPass, and the Arkells concert is free for all students.
I will definately be at the Arkells concert as I've heard they are amazing live and they're originally from Hamilton. Anyone else planning on going? | |

| YES! It's your ticket to an awesome week! And I think you need it to participate in some of the Welcome Week Activities. I bought one last year... and I was glad I did! | |

| alexisonfire was the headlining band at my first frosh week, at, um, that other university...:S The concert wasn't fantastic, but that may have been cause I had strep throat... Also, I'm surprised Metric would have been invited. They were at Mac's frosh a couple of years ago, and apparently they came out late, drunk, and only performed a few songs before leaving. Mind you, I've been a long time Metric fan, and I've seen them several times, and I must admit, they are often quite buzzed, to say the least. And buy a MacPASS!! I know they are/seem expensive, but you get a lot for your money. It includes your meals for pretty much the WHOLE WEEK! that means NO COOKING! and you get to delay getting sick of food from commons for a WHOLE WEEK And there's concerts, clothes ( i got 4 shirts from WW last year), swag, and a pretty stylin wristband too. | |

| If anyone wants to try mixing a flute into this band, I could give it a shot... =P But I don't promise anything. Even though I've been playing all summer, I still haven't gotten back what I had in high school. | |

| I'd offer to do vocals...but I don't think you guys want this band to fail quite that badly. | |

| I respectfully vote "no" to Solomon singing. I also vote "yes" to him juggling apples on stage. | |
