Hey, congrats to all those who are accepted! Unfortunately, it is my understanding that there is only one wave of acceptances and all acceptances are sent out at the same time (unless OUAC or your e-mail account lags which I am unsure if that happens). Please note that there were no guarantees based on marks, and much of the acceptance process did rely on the supplemental application (and vice versa, where marks were taken into account as well).
For those who are accepted, please make a username here on the forum using your First Name and Last Name, and post an introduction under the iSci 2014 heading. After becoming a member, more of the forum will open up for you, and it will also help administratively for the iSci Student Society. Also stay tuned for some iSci-2014 specific forum sections, (as we have some iSci-2013 specific sections that will continue to be private for us). If you have any concerns about privacy, etc, please post here as a guest expressing them.
For all those accepted to Mac or iSci and want to find out more before making that final decision, please visit May @ Mac where students and professors will be happy to answer your questions in person, or post here on the forum and one (or more) of us second-year students will be glad to help! (For questions about not only the program, but residence, sports, clubs, meal plans, financial issues, transportation, off-campus living, etc.)
Once again congrats to Ryan and XD, and many more to come! To those who were not accepted, I hope you fall in love with another program either here at Mac or elsewhere!
