Hey. I've seen a lot of "guests" lurking these forums. I would imagine many of you are prospective students.
Don't be afraid to ask questions! Even if you do so without a name, and anonymously (I believe you can still start forum topics and comment on forums as a guest), we are all here to help you make the best decision possible, and we want to make sure you do. Even ask us what we don't like about the program, what the hardest part has been for us, or anything. (Though we all prefer to talk about the positives!)
However, for those of you who are bold, I greatly encourage you to make an account, voice your acceptance with the other students in the iSci 2015 forum, and ask questions to get to know your cohort better as well as the rest of the iSci Community!
In the meanwhile, explore previous forum topics, and check out
https://isci.forumotion.com/faq for some frequently asked questions, and explore the official website
http://www.science.mcmaster.ca/isci/prospective-students for tons of information.
Also, if you want your questions kept confidentially, e-mail
iscisociety@gmail.com, and I will personally answer your question or find someone who I feel is better suited to answer your question for you!
Lastly, if you don't want to hear from the student voice and want a more professional edge (though I assure you, you will get a more heartfelt and honest response from the students 100% of the time), e-mail
sjrobin@mcmaster.ca, our iSci Administrator who will either answer your question, or direct it to the appropriate individual.
In all, don't ever feel lost in this decision, we are all here to help you out!
