I'm so excited, I can't even sit still (haha I'm still in school at the moment)

sorry for the lack of information before, I had just found out and was a little excited (as you might have been able to tell)

I'm from Teeswater, ON and I go to F.E. Madill Secondary School in Wingham.

I got accepted this morning!! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!

I'm Josi, I'm from Kitchener, ON. I graduated highschool last year and I'm currently finishing apprenticing as a hairstylist. I'm aiming to get my licence by the end of June.

I have a really tough decision ahead of me, so any and all feedback would be much appreciated. My top program choice is iSci and I think it would fit my learning style like nothing else out there. But I'll have to either move out (which is going to be a bit tough financially) or face a very long commute every day. I've been trying to think of alternatives (maybe commute until the weather gets bad, and then find somewhere to stay??). My second choice is Honours Science at the University of Waterloo. I'm not really happy with the program, or where I'll end up once I'm done the program. However, it's practically down the street from my house and it would be considerably cheaper. So I'm going nuts right now trying to decide what would be best for me.

I'm Victoria and I'm proud to say that after reading my acceptance email my combination of shrieking and tears stopped my bio class's lesson this morning! :')
I'm from Iroquois Ridge High School in Oakville, Ontario!
I'm so proud of everyone who got accepted, great job everyone, now to finish off high school!
I am considering this program although I may not be able to make it to may@mac tomorrow due to work (if I do show up you have my permission to point and laugh at the girl with wet hair who smells like chlorine).

Hey! No way! No one wants to make fun of the lifeguard/swim instructor. Who knows when we're all going to spontaneously start drowning in the middle of the sidewalk? That's a risk I am not willing to take.

Congrats to all of you for being accepted. I can assure you personally that the application process was very difficult, and there were many tough decisions made with the applications. And we are all confident that the students selected in your cohort are strong, creative, and based on the applications, are the type of student that will best gain from the iSci program. (For those rejected reading this -- many of the decisions were made not based on your calibre as a student, but rather on if we felt that the style and method of learning for Integrated Science was best fitted for you).

That being said, tomorrow will be a great day to learn about the program!

I will be at Thode library from 11am to 1pm as will many of the professors and other students. We also have many students and professors that will be present at CIBC Hall for the science fair all morning who are more than excited to tell you about our program. I also believe there's a presentation at 12:30, but I would personally recommend you leave your parents there and talk to the students at Thode/CIBC Hall because we will tell you the real information about the program.

Any other questions, please feel free to make new posts on the forum, here under iSci 2015! I know accepting the program is a tough decision, but we all will provide you with the honest answers to help you figure it out best.
