On January 29th (this Saturday), there will be a mass demonstration in support of the Hamilton Steel Workers, who have been locked out of their jobs by US Steel since 2007. People will be converging from all across Ontario for this event.
I realize that this isn`t an on-campus event, but several groups of Mac students will be attending and it promises to be a historical day for the City of Hamilton. The demonstration will be beginning in front of City Hall at 1:00pm on Saturday. Anyone who`s interested please come and talk to me.
