Just wanted to let you know, you did a great job answering my questions this week when I visited on Tuesday. You were super helpful and totally welcoming. I want to be in iSci NOW!

Thanks Smile,
Ryan

Hey Ryan,
you're going to have to keep waiting. I remember from last year that it's quite painful. Good luck!

I agree with Ryan! I thought by this point I would be out of questions but you and your profs were awesome with answering anything I came up with. I stopped by on Friday and was able to sit in on the intense physics lab you guys were working on Wink I actually think I talked to you and your group, Solomon.

Yes Tatjana, I think I told you the lab was stupid and boring.

For anyone who isn't sure:
isci offers will be made on May 1, so as to be simultaneous with Mac's health sciences and arts & science programs

yeah that must be really exciting, but it sort of reminds me that it was almost 1 year ago that i got this acceptance, and good luck to all applicants.

Getting super nervous now aaaah. I also didn't know they send out offers on the weekend. I've been under the assumption the offers are sent out during weekdays like for other programs.

probably, stop stressing, whatever happens will happen.
to all of you, even though us iScis are really cool and all (i know you are all thinking it Razz) iSci is not for everyone, and is CERTAINLY NOT the be all and end all of your university careers. so consider your options and make sure that you are NOT choosing iSci just because it is an elite program, but because it is what is best for you. trust me, being in an elite program is not worth killing yourselves doing what you do not want to do. if some of you out there are future surgeons and couldnt care less about physics or earth science, take a life sci degree. enjoying yourself in first year is what it is all about, your med school admissions office will pay more attention to your marks and extra-curriculars than the name of the school or program you graduated from. as some of you may know, a former iSci switched to engineering from iSci early in the year. he made a tough decision, but his ability to be true to who he is was commendable. sorry to give this shpiel, but I just don't want to see students go through first year regretting their choice. as I said before, consider your options and if iSci is the right program for you, like it was for me, I'll be more than happy to see you next year, but if it isn't, be happy that you were accepted, choose the program that fits you best (whether or not it is an elite program) and enjoy your first year. all in all, you are making an important choice, think about it.

P.S. this was not edited, sorry for errors

I know Health Sciences offers haven't been sent out yet and likely won't be until later this week. So if iSci's offers are set to be simultaneous with Health Sci's, I would think there are still a few more days to go. Plus, I didn't think universities sent out offers on the weekend.. ? I could be completely wrong, though.

Last year I got my letter from ArtSci about a week and a half prior to getting a letter from iSci. They try to send out the acceptance letters approximately the same time, but there is a bit of a time lag.

The last three months haven't been too bad in terms of waiting, but the next few days are going to be painful. I wish you guys the best of luck!
